As the aroma of pumpkin spice lattes fills the air, Starbucks and Delta are brewing up an enticing new offer that can get you 1,000 extra SkyMiles..

Since October 2022, a partnership between Starbucks and Delta has allowed members of both rewards programs to link their accounts. Doing so enabled you to rack up one SkyMile for each dollar you spent at Starbucks, along with double the Starbucks Stars on purchases made on days you fly with Delta.

This partnership just got more rewarding. Between now and September 12, 2023, if you swing by Starbucks twice in one week, you'll find yourself 1,000 SkyMiles richer. To put that into perspective, it's roughly the distance flown from Seattle to San Diego.

Getting these bonus miles is simple. If you're not already a member, you'll need to sign up for a SkyMiles and a Starbucks Rewards account. Next, link these accounts at deltastarbucks.com by entering your name, SkyMiles number, and Starbucks login information. Then, opt into the promotion via Delta’s website. Remember, the clock starts ticking for the seven-day period as soon as you enroll, so time it right.

Once enrolled, make at least two purchases at Starbucks within that week. Each purchase must be a minimum of $2, not including taxes or tips, and you must use the payment method connected to your Starbucks Rewards account. Eligible purchases include beverages, food, and even Starbucks merchandise, but gift cards are excluded.

While the bonus miles won't count towards your Medallion or Million Miler Status with Delta, they can be used for future flights. Expect to see them in your SkyMiles account within 10 business days. After you’ve claimed your one-time bonus, you can still earn SkyMiles and Starbucks Stars just like before. Cheers to more travel and more coffee!
