Hello, world wanderers and globe-trotters! I'm Wallis, the co-pilot and travel advisor at Red Letter Travel, your ticket to luxury, adventure, and memory-filled journeys.
My fabulous journey with Red Letter Travel began back in 2017, born out of an intense year of absorbing wisdom from my mom and business partner, the brilliant Debbie. With the secret family recipe for creating dream vacations in hand, I was on a mission - to design a travel agency that appealed to younger generations, while also offering our seasoned travel connoisseurs the luxury and top-notch service they've always enjoyed. Picture the Instagrammable aesthetic of a hip cafe meeting the luxury of a five-star hotel, and you've got Red Letter Travel!
Now look at us! Red Letter Travel has evolved into the exciting, dynamic, and oh-so-stylish agency we dreamed it would be. I'm absolutely thrilled to see how much we've achieved, and I'm so excited for all the awesome growth that's still to come!
Travel, to me, is more than just a job or a business. It's a love affair that started long before I sold my first plane ticket. I live to introduce others to the intoxicating thrill of setting foot in a new city, the joy of getting lost and found in a foreign place, and the mouthwatering delight of tasting local delicacies.
Over the years, I've had the pleasure of calling many vibrant and diverse cities home. Atlanta with its Southern charm, San Diego with its endless summer, Hawaii with its enchanting beauty, Washington D.C. with its bustling political buzz, and now, Lisbon, a city that's captured my heart.
So, whether you're a novice explorer or a seasoned journeyer, I'm here to make your travel dreams come true. Can't wait to write the next chapter in your travel story!
What's your favorite place you've visited and why?
Oh, it's got to be Morocco! Every visit to this enchanting country feels like the first, uncovering new experiences from the buzzing city life in Marrakech, the serene beauty of the Sahara Desert, to the rugged charm of the Atlas Mountains. Plus, leading a two-week adventure through Morocco with my best girlfriends…That's a memory that's hard to top! Morocco holds a special place in my heart.

Tell us a fun fact about you that not many people know.
Believe it or not, I've tasted the dust of a rodeo ring as a bonafide bull rider! This thrill-seeking venture took place during my teen years, a time when, much like today, I was driven by a thirst for adventure and the inability to say "no" to a challenge.
Our family summers were spent in the picturesque Crested Butte, Colorado, where the anticipation for the annual Gunnison rodeo had everyone buzzing. My younger brother, caught up in the excitement, signed up for mutton-bustin' (which, by the way, is as adorable as it sounds - kids racing on the backs of sheep!)
Seeing my brother's name on the register, my competitive streak flared. I was all set to sign up for the mutton fun, but there was a hitch - I was a year too old! Unfazed and unwilling to back down, I stepped up to the next logical challenge... Bull riding!
The gravity of my decision didn't quite hit me until I found myself mounting the beast, my right hand being strapped down in the chute. Talk about a real "HOLY SHIT" moment! 5.3 sweat-drenched seconds later, I was back on solid ground (accompanied by a minor waterworks show!)
But hey, the universe rewards the daring! I bagged a pair of golden spurs that evening and - the cherry on the rodeo cake - I managed to one-up my brother! So if you're ever thinking of throwing down a challenge, remember, I've got a bull riding badge on my sash!
