Meet Kendel
Kendel’s love affair with travel began in Paris and quickly expanded to include destinations across Europe, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, and beyond. What started as sharing tips with friends blossomed into a full-time career dedicated to designing custom, high-touch journeys that feel effortless and unforgettable.
With professional experience in sales and client service, Kendel is naturally attuned to what matters most—truly listening, understanding individual preferences, and translating them into seamless, personalized itineraries. She believes travel should reflect each person’s unique style, whether that means uncovering hidden local gems, finding the perfect boutique property, or including thoughtful surprises along the way.
As a busy mom, Kendel values time deeply and understands how meaningful it is to spend it traveling with the people you love. From multigenerational family vacations and romantic honeymoons to bucket-list adventures around the world, she brings a warm heart, creative eye, and meticulous attention to every detail.
Based in Baltimore and often visiting family in Vancouver, Kendel spends her free time discovering local gems, sipping cappuccinos, or strolling the waterfront with her dog. She’s passionate about making travel dreams come true—and can’t wait to help plan yours.
What's the most memorable travel experience you’ve had?
Last year, for my 30th birthday, my fiancé and I traveled to Thailand and Vietname. Asia always felt so inaccessible but it was only the long flight that stood in my way of exploring this incredible part of the world. Over the two weeks we were there, we sipped cocktails from our infinity pool on an island oasis, witnessed rescued elephants bathe in the muddy waters of a rushing river, and ate our way through every night market and street vendor we could find (and never got sick!). It was truly an unforgettable way to welcome in a new decade, one that will be filled with even more adventure!
Which destination is at the top of your personal bucket list?
This is like asking a parent to choose their favorite child. I have so many “top” destinations, but right now I’d say it’s a tie between Patagonia and Argentina, and an African Safari. These are wildly different experiences, but I crave the adventure that comes with each.
What do you think sets our company apart in the industry?
What drew me to RLT was the mother-daughter pairing of the small women-led team. I know I couldn’t personally be business partners with my own mom, but I truly appreciate the expertise, respect, and fun that is shared between Debbie and Wallis and Pat and Taylor. Ansley and I are the adopted daughters who are so lucky to be part of this RLT family!
