Exploring Panama.

Looking for the next destination to add to your list?

Panama should be added immediately!
The country is a mixing pot of old and new. From the stunning architecture to the authentic cuisine, there is something for everyone. Panama has an interesting history. The engineering feat of the Panama Canal is part of that rich history and  definitely a must see.  Another must is exploring the Old Quarter, locally called 'Casco Viejo'. Every turn seems to lead to a beautiful cathedral, colorfully painted building, bustling restaurant, or of course a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the skyline.

After a full day of touring and activities treat yourself to an intimate and authentic culinary experience at one of the locally owned boutique cafes. You will be led through an 8-10 course tasting menu covering Panama's traditions in a unique and eclectic way (all explained personally by chef Jose)!

If you crave a more casual experience, the only challenge is determining which amazing spot to try. With so many different countries influencing Panama, you can find an interpretation of most cuisines.

One of our favorite spots to stay in Panama City is La Concordia. It is perfectly situated in the middle of the Old Quarter, allowing you to walk to all of the sights, boutiques, and restaurants. Each of the 10 rooms are uniquely designed with a pop of color. This family owned hotel will truly make you feel at home! Don't forget to enjoy some bubbly and bubbles!

Another favorite, Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama is a wonderful oceanfront luxury hotel. This 159-room hotel, which is also located in a UNESCO World Heritage site, features a full-service spa with pool and ocean views, plus multiple dining venues, including Caleta, serving Mediterranean Seafood cuisine, the indoor/outdoor sky bar, Ammi, and a gourmet coffee shop to secure your daily caffeine fix before heading out to explore the area.

The Bristol is located in Panama City's financial district, minutes from shopping, cultural attractions and nightlife. Enjoy some time at the spa before your departure. The Bristol is definitely considered one of Panama City's most elegant hotels.

A trip to Panama would not be complete without spending some time exploring one of Panama's coasts. The country is surrounded by both the Pacific and the Caribbean Sea which gives you plenty of amazing options. We suggest spending some time in the Gulf of Chiriqui at the private, tropical island resort Isla Palenque.

This private island/resort is the perfect place to disconnect and focus on the beauty surrounding you. Discover one of the seven secluded beaches, relax by the pool, take a paddle board out, boat to one of the many surrounding islands, enjoy some time in your amazing beachfront casita, and dine under the stars! You will leave Isla Palenque recharged and with an understanding of the importance of taking time away from the modern day stressors.

Panama is an incredible destination and definitely a great addition to your travel bucket list.
